On these pages is a compendium of participants and scores from The Contest of Champions from 1962 to the present. I have created these pages from an Excel file sent to me in the fall of 2007. I have made numerous corrections in spelling and other error corrections that I am aware of. There are, no doubt, many errors remaining, as well as many omissions in regard to director's names. If you can fill in any of the blanks, or if you know any info presented here to be in error, please send that info to repair@saxdoctor.com

The info presented here is intended to educate us all regarding the historical facts of band programs throughout the state for 40+ years. It is interesting to see how directors have moved... sometimes from assistant to head director... and sometimes to different programs throughout their careers. My hope is that it will be entertaining to you as well. Enjoy!
